For the sixth year running, we teamed up with dataMinds to bring their annual Connect conference to life — from concept to communication, and every design detail in between.

Saving the world is no small task. But when you’ve got the right theme, the right tools, and the right people? You give it a proper go.
During our early creative sessions, one theme kept coming back: superheroes. And not the capes-and-tights cliché — but a playful, accessible visual style grounded in comic book energy and creative firepower.
It struck the perfect balance: bold, fun, full of inside nods to the data crowd — and a visual playground for our copywriters and designers to run wild in.

We made sure every attendee left with branded goodies worth showing off — from limited-edition tees to tote bags that carried more than just brochures.
Us was proud to help dataMinds connect its super-community again this year. And yes, our cape’s already ironed for the next edition.

Once the theme was locked in, we crafted every asset with storytelling in mind:
