Driving digital growth for Arvesta: How we optimized e-commerce for Aveve & Eurotuin

As the agricultural expert for farmers and gardeners, Arvesta operates a diverse portfolio of brands. To scale its digital presence, Arvesta aimed to increase online sales and drive more customers to physical stores. The challenge: expanding online sales & strengthening brand identity. Two of its brands, Aveve and Eurotuin, had specific challenges.

Aveve operated two separate websites: avevewinkels.be and a Click & Collect platform. Merging them was essential to:

Eurotuin required a brand and content strategy to explore e-commerce potential. Their Test & Learn Team was set up to experiment with branding and digital strategies, ensuring data-driven decisions before committing to a full e-commerce rollout.

Our approach: UX optimization, content strategy & data-backed decisions

For Aveve, we conducted A/B testing to optimize Click & Collect UX, resulting in an immediate revenue increase. The new webshop strategy focused on UX improvements, content strategy to enhance engagement. Additionally, we provided SEO-optimized product descriptions aligned with Google’s latest algorithms (shorter, more informative titles and rich content). We created conversion-driven product pages with clear CTAs and transactional copy as well.

For Eurotuin, we served as brand and content strategists in their Test & Learn Team, an initiative designed to experiment with different digital strategies. We analyzed website optimizations and the potential need for an e-commerce trajectory. Provided data-backed insights to help Eurotuin make informed decisions about branding, website improvements, and future digital growth.
